Elizabeth Marie Conroy

ELIZABETH MARIE CONROY, HOULTON – Elizabeth Marie Conroy, 97, wife of the late Eugean Conroy, passed away on July 21, 2018, at a Houlton healthcare facility. She was born on November 16, 1920, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Benjamin and Sylvia (Doucette) Muise.
She loved the Red Sox and the Patriots. She enjoyed quilting and making pillowdolls while watching and talking to her TV. She was the Matriarch of the family and loved her children and grandchildren. She is survived by five children, William C. Conroy, Lawrence B. Conroy, Marion E. Stanley, Richard Ralph Conroy, and Russell A. Conroy; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Donald and Mitchell, a great-granddaughter, Jessica Silliboy, a granddaughter, Lori Conroy, and several siblings.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Bruce Sikit officiating.
