OAKFIELD, Maine — On the first day of August, the Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Smoke-Haulers Snowmobile Club.
With 15 members and three guests attending, a potluck luncheon was quickly followed by a short business meeting opened with the Lord’s prayer and Flag salute. August birthdays were recognized.
Wannetta Townsend gave the card report. After the business meeting we adjourned until our next meeting on Aug. 15.
Attending were: Marie Gillotti, Bernice Campbell, Jeanne Clements, Ellie Peck, Verna Boone, Jim and Helen Blois, George Barrow, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Kathleen Boutilier, Iona Nadeau, Wannetta Townsend, Don and Charlotte Marley. Guests were Dennis Thibodeau, Glenn Cameron and Cheyenne Gardner.
