BRISTOL, CT, AND CARIBOU, Maine – Kevin A. Staples of Bristol, CT, and Caribou, ME, died August 4, 2018, at the age of 53. He was born December 31, 1964, in Caribou, son of Kermit and the late Marlene (Theriault) Staples.
He was a graduate of Caribou High School, Class of 1983. Kevin went on to college at Technical Career Institute, where he received his degree in auto body. He worked in the auto body repair field before moving to Connecticut where he worked as an iron worker. He then owned an alloy wheel repair business before going back to iron work.
Kevin was a very fun, loving, and caring individual that would help anyone in need. He made friends everywhere he went. Kevin loved spending time hunting with his brothers and time at gatherings with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching his son and grandsons play and excel in their sports.
Surviving in addition to his father are his children, Kayla and her husband, Robert, Pleasant; his son, Cole Staples; his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Craig and Annette Staples of Caribou, Kerry and Susan Staples of Hollis, Dean and Donna Staples of Caribou; two sisters and their spouses, Denna and James Wilson of Windham, and Robin and Lisa Staples of Corpus Christie, TX; grandsons, Parker, Nixon and Anthelm Pleasant; many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. Kevin also leaves many lifelong friends and his extended Masse family.
The service will be at Sacred Heart Church, North Caribou, on August 18 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. There will be refreshments and fellowship in the hall following the service.
