Christopher L. Smith and Kimberly R. (Martin) Hall were married on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Presque Isle County Club in a ceremony presided over by Reverend Dr. Daniel Blevins of the Mars Hill and Easton United Methodist churches.
Kim is the daughter of the late William “Bill” Martin, originally of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Joanne Esse, of Houlton.
Chris is the son of William “Bill” and Shirley Smith, of Presque Isle, both deceased.
The bride is a graduate of Presque Isle High School and the University of Maine at Orono and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Business Program at Husson College. She is employed by The Aroostook Medical Center.
The groom, also a Presque Isle High graduate, earned his master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Maine at Orono and is employed by the University of Maine at Presque Isle where he has served as the coach of the men’s and women’s cross country running program for 20 years.
The bride wore an ivory gown with silver embroidered lace tiers and carried a cascading floral arrangement of lilies, jasmine and gardenias.
The matron of honor was Debbie (Roix) McQuarrie and the best man was Al Hanscomb.
An August honeymoon is planned.
