PIHS hockey team wins two more last week

    The Presque Isle High School hockey team is on a hot streak of late collecting two more home wins in the past seven days.

    On Friday, Adam Flynn scored three goals and had two assists as the Wildcats improved their record to 5-2 with a 7-3 win against Winslow.

    Connor Shaw added two goals and four assists for Presque Isle, while Isaac LaJoie had a goal and four assists, Alex Michaud scored a goal and Colin McKay contributed two assists.

    Jacob Cain, Josh Larsen and Eric Crawley each scored for 0-5 Winslow.

    On Wednesday, Flynn scored two goals and assisted on another to power the Wildcats to a 6-4 victory over  Orono.

    Shaw and Lajoie each logged a goal and two assists for 4-2 Presque Isle. Tyler Seeley and Evan Waddell notched a goal each and McKay added two assists.

    Matt Cloutier, Zach Williams, Casey Michaud and Dan Perry scored a goal apiece for 0-3-1 Orono.

    Presque Isle is currently in fourth-place in Eastern Maine Class B.

    The next game for the Wildcats is Saturday at home against the undefeated Brewer Witches at 1 p.m.
