Beryl B. Ayotte

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Beryl B. Ayotte, 82, passed away early on Saturday morning, August 18, 2018, at the House of Comfort in Presque Isle. He was born on February 3, 1936, in Presque Isle, the son of Mack and Edna (Higgins) Ayotte.
He worked at Fox and Gin Moving Company followed by Delmont Wood and Sons in Mapleton as a construction worker. In addition, Beryl volunteered countless hours at the Presque Isle High School’s Farm Mechanics program, teaching many young minds the skills he enjoyed so much.
Beryl is preceded in death by a brother, Mack “Sonny” Ayotte Jr. and a sister, Maxine McPherson. He is survived by a brother, Bernard Ayotte and his wife, Elsie, of Mapleton; and a sister, Jeanette Ayotte of Westfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Cemetery, Mapleton, with Wendell Hudson officiating.
