Harold F. Haines

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Harold F. Haines, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at his most loved summer camp on the farm. He was born on May 24, 1930.
He leaves behind his high school sweetheart, Jackie King Haines, that he married 68 years ago. Together they worked and grew a potato manufacturing company, started in 1930 by Jr.’s Dad, F. Harold Haines. Fred joined them in the business at an early age. The shop became a way of life for the family.
Besides his wife, Jackie, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Leigh Stilwell; his son, Fred and significant other, Diane Good. He was predeceased by his parents, F. Harold Haines and Minnie Haines; a daughter, Linda Saunders and her son, Troy; his brother, Carroll Haines and wife, Pat; and a sister, Marion and her husband, Bill Small.
He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Dustin Supa and his wife, Susan, Kristin Supa, and Casey Johnson and her husband, Scott. Also, four great-grandchildren, Sherralyn and Kendall Robbins, Annaleise and Rosalind Supa.
At his request, there will be no services. A private burial will take place at a later date.
