Students utilize trailers

Ashland Area Residents Donate To High School
Community support for local schools have always been a tremendous asset in providing a wholesome educational environment. Such was the case in Ashland this past December when students in the Industrial Arts Program needed a project to exercise their skills in as productive a way as possible.
Thanks to the generosity of Tom and Shari Ward and Leroy and Opal Walls, students now have an opportunity to improve their skills productively. Both couples have donated their used utility trailers to compliment the learning process.
Students will have the opportunity to evaluate the trailers for repair, reinforce the frame and rebuild the trailers for normal use. The students will remove damaged parts, fabricate new framing materials and paint the rebuilt units. Part of the reconstruction will involve welding steel and fastening wood to complete the project.
The Industrial Arts students along with their instructor, Paul Ouellette, would like to say “thank you” to the Wards and Walls.
