Each year, the Lister-Knowlton VFW Auxiliary from Post 9389 sponsors the annual Miss/Little Miss Caribou pageant. This year’s pageant, held in March, raised $1,500 to benefit the Jefferson Cary Cancer Center at Cary Medical Center. Several members of the VFW Auxiliary, as well as Miss and Little Miss Caribou, recently gathered to make the check presentation to JCCC staff.
