Houlton Water Company holds Customer Appreciation event

Houlton Water Company General Manager Greg Sherman holds up a hot dog Friday afternoon as part of the company’s Customer Appreciation event. Started in 1998 by former general manager John Clark as a way to thank customers for their support, the free lunch is held each year on the Friday before Labor Day. According to Sherman, between 1,200-1,500 hot dogs are typically served each year. (Joseph Cyr)
