The Mars Hill and Blaine Homecoming Committee met recently and is looking into doing a Fall Craft Fair in early November if there is enough interest.

The committee will be meeting again on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:30. We welcome all those who would like to join the group to attend.
Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center. The special speaker was Tom Anderson of New Hampshire.
Born and raised in Fort Fairfield, he went to college in Texas. He spoke about his career in electronic systems.
He has also been a Scout leader and a deep sea diver, and enjoys karate.

Upcoming events for the week of Sept. 12-18 include: Wednesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Table Tennis at 9:30 a.m. and Card Games at 1:30 p.m. Thursday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m., and Card Games at 1:30 p.m. Friday will feature Jingo at 9:30 a.m. and Music by The Countrymen at 1:30 p.m. Saturday will feature Karaoke with The Deschesnes at 1:30 p.m. Sunday will have televised church in the day room. Monday will feature Nails with Shallie & Melissa at 9:30 a.m. and Communion at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m., Exercise at 1:30 p.m. and Game Time at 2:00 p.m.

Music Night
Thursday Night Music is back in Bridgewater. From 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday, stop by the Historical Building for some rousing music to dance to, or just sit and enjoy listening to.
Bingo
The William Cousins Post 118 of Mars Hill is hosting Bingo on Saturday evening beginning at 7 p.m. at the Post. There are cash prizes. Refreshments are available.
