HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Police Department will host a “Community Prayer Moment” for first responders on Friday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m.
Organized by Cindy Milton, the team has set a goal to recognize those lost in the line of duty, express thanks and gratitude and pray for safety to those “First Responder” that protect the community every day and the dangers they face.
Milton said she hopes for many regional first responders and community members to attend to show their united support. The prayer moment will last about 15 minutes and will be led by Pastor Joshua Brewer of the Shiretown Baptist Church and Houlton dispatcher Tom Milton.
A light lunch will be provided following the service.
