CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou police say Nathan Fox, 31, of Limestone was “not cooperative” when officers tried to arrest him on multiple charges following a traffic stop Friday.
Officer Douglas Bell stopped Fox at 2:27 a..m. on Sept. 28 to question him about “suspicious activity” around York Street, according to a release from the Caribou Police Department.
Despite being the only person in the vehicle, Fox moved to the passenger seat as Bell approached the car, the release states. Bell subsequently arrested Fox on an outstanding warrant and charged him with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating after suspension, being a habitual offender, and three counts of violating bail conditions.
Fox was taken to the Aroostook County Jail where he awaits a Nov. 1 court date.
