HOULTON and PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Heather-Donn (White) Belka, 44, passed away Thursday September 27, 2018, at a Houlton hospital. She was born February 15, 1974, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Michael and Helen (Bell) White.
Heather grew up in Ludlow and graduated from Hodgdon High School in 1992. She then attended Northern Maine Vocational Institute and earned an associate degree in Office Systems. In September of 2007, Heather married Jacek Belka.
Heather was employed for seventeen years by F.A. Peabody Company as a data processor. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, was a great cook, and enjoyed riding horses when she was younger.
Heather’s greatest joy was her family and she treasured her time with them. She will be remembered for always smiling, her enthusiasm for life, and her honesty.
Heather is survived by her husband, Jacek Belka of Houlton; her mother, Helen White of Hodgdon; a sister, Brandy Fuller and her husband, Chadwick, of Hodgdon; a brother, Michael White of Woodland, NC; as well as two nieces, Leah Fuller, and a “special niece” Madden Fuller; and two nephews, Wade Fuller, and Krayton Hogan. Heather also leaves behind special friends, Amanda Schools and Karla McGary. She was predeceased by her father, Michael White in 1993.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday October 4, 2018, at St. Mary of the Visitation Church with the Rev. Kent Ouellette, celebrant. A graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday October 6, 2018, at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle with Deacon Al Burleigh officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to a Celebration Of Life from 12-4 p.m. Saturday, at the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum in Littleton, following the graveside service.
