The Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Clubhouse on Wednesday Oct. 3, with the following members attending: Bernice Campbell, Arlene Friel, Don and Charlotte Marley, George Barrow, Wannetta Townsend, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Jeanne Clements and Ellie Peck.
After the potluck luncheon the business meeting was opened with The Lord’s Prayer followed by the Flag Salute. Jeanne Clements won the 50/50 raffle.
All reports were read and accepted. Birthdays were recognized. There was much business discussed with many holiday plans to be arranged.
Jeanne Clements read a poem about the four seasons in Maine.
Our next meeting will be on Oct. 17 at the Clubhouse at 11:30 for the potluck luncheon, followed by herbalist Natalia Bragg as guest speaker. Join us for lunch and information.
