PRESQUE ISLE AND CARIBOU, Maine – Marian Turner, 91, died October 4, 2018, at her Presque Isle residence. She was born in Presque Isle, October 30, 1926, the daughter of the late Charles and Ida (McNeal) Turner. She was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, as well as St. Catherine’s Mission in Washburn, and she was a member of the Catholic Golden Age.
Mrs. Turner was a retired CNA, having been employed at Caribou Rehab and Nursing for many years. She was a member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the Smart-Ricker Post 10 DAV Auxiliary. Marian volunteered many hours at Cary Medical Center where she was also a member of the Cary Seniority.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Roch Levesque; her second husband, Earl A. Turner; a daughter, Carol R. Levesque; and two brothers, Charles and James Turner. Mrs. Turner is survived by a son, Richard Levesque of Caribou; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Caribou.
