Raymond C. Allen

Allen, Raymond C., 69, of Portland Ave. passed away July 7, 2007. There will be no calling hours, and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home.
    Dover, N.H.- Raymond C. Allen, 69, of Portland Ave passed away at his home on July 7, 2007 with his family members by his side.
    He was born on January 24, 1938 in Presque Isle, Maine the son of Clayton R. Allen and Katherine (Parker) Rediker. Raymond served in the US Army stationed in Germany and was Honorable Discharged in January of 1959.
    Raymond served as a chef at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and the Hotel Caribou for several years. He loved to fly fish and passed his knowledge on to his children.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Marilynn (Condon) Allen, his loving daughters; Teresa R. Craft of Presque Isle, Maine, Tanya LaPointe and her husband Bryan of Presque Isle, Maine, and Sandra D. Allen of Newton, North Carolina, three sons; Steven R. Allen, Todd W. Allen and his wife Nichole and Scott A. Allen all of Dover, NH, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, his brother John (Jack) H. Allen of Presque Isle Maine, his sister Brenda Allen Gay and her husband Fred of St. Stephens, N.B., Canada and several nieces and nephews.
    Raymond was predeceased by both his parents and a brother Richard Allen.
    There are no calling hours and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home 621 Central Ave Dover, NH with the Rev. Ed Vaeni officiating. There will be a gathering for Friends and Family Saturday, July 21, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. at 290 Skyway  St., Skyway Trailer Park Lot #43 Presque Isle, Maine.
