A Place to Eat in Oakfield was the meeting place for the Purple Hat ladies on Oct. 9. With beautiful fall decorations filling the room it was a great place to celebrate “The Colors” of fall in Maine.
Only one brave lady chose to share her Halloween costume. Thanks, Marie.
Ramona White read “The Autumn Flag,” describing all of the different colors of autumn with pumpkin being the king.
Everyone did their best to complete a story about treats, and Marie Gillotti read the finished tale. Upcoming meetings were discussed and plans made for next year.
Cindy Gray had several readings for the group.
Attending were: Wannetta Townsend, Marie Gillotti, Cindy Gray, Verna Boone, Mildred Gagnon, Bernice Campbell, Arlene Friel, Sandy Wyman, Ramona White, Betty Wyman, Jackie Colella and Charlotte Marley.
More information on next month’s meeting place will be available soon.
