STEPHEN ‘STEVIE’ LEIGH VOISINE JR., WYTOPITLOCK – Stephen “Stevie” Leigh Voisine, Jr., age 36, passed away peacefully on Friday October 12th, 2018, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, after a hard fought battle with kidney disease. He was born on February 7th, 1982 in Lincoln, ME. He called the small town of Wytopitlock his home and attended Wytopitlock Elementary and Lee Academy, graduating class of 2000.
Stevie will be remembered for his laugh and sense of humor and his love for “Country Gold Saturday Night”. He loved to tell jokes and play tricks on others just to see their reaction. His smile lit up the room.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and his beloved stepmother, Tina Farwell. He is survived by his father, Stephen Voisine Sr. of Wytopitlock; mother, Kathy Ledger, husband Joseph, of Amity; sister, Cynthia Minoty, husband Rodney, of Hartland; sister, Stephanie McGary, husband Reggie, of Amity; stepsisters, Ashley Farwell of Lee, Shauna Farwell of Caribou, Jolene Wallace of Hodgdon; stepbrothers, Joe Farwell Jr. of Fort Fairfield, Joshua Ledger of Hodgdon; nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Samantha and Sarah; and lots of extended family that will miss him very much.
The family would like to thank the Lincoln Lakes Dialysis Center as well as Penobscot Valley Hospital and Eastern Maine Medical Center for the care and compassion that has been shown to Stevie over the past 10 years.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stevie’s life at a graveside service on Tuesday, October 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Wytopitlock Cemetery with Pastor Steve Waite officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stevie’s name to Clay’s Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd. Lincoln, ME 04457.
