LIMESTONE, Maine – Mitchell Lawrence Labreck, 65, died October 15, 2018, at his Limestone residence following a brief illness. He was born in Bath, New York, September 13, 1953, the son of Lawrence and Geraldine (Robords) Labreck. Mr. Labreck attended Limestone Schools, served with the U.S. Army, and on February 2, 1974 he married Bernadette Labreck. Mitchell was a long haul truck driver for many years for several area trucking companies. He is a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman who truly loved spending time outdoors with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife, Bernadette of Limestone, are his mother, Geraldine of Caswell; one daughter, Sherry Roy and husband, Shawn of Limestone; two sons, Kristopher Labreck and wife, Jamie, and Anthony Labreck and significant other, Danica Bourgoin, all of Limestone; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Darlene Labreck of Manning, SC; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Christine and Hayden Perreault of Saco, Jody Labreck of Racine, Wi., Jeanette and Kevin Seymour of Harvard, Il., Sharon, Pam and Ark Giberson all of Caswell; his beloved grandchildren, Amelia Roy and Cameron and Carter Labreck; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Labreck was predeceased by his father and a sister, Linda.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. Following the service all are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshments in the church dining area. Interment will be at the Northern Maine Veterans’ Cemetery.
