OLD TOWN, Maine – Joseph Herby Michaud, 73, husband of Amy Michaud, died on October 11, 2018, at Northern Light Health – EMMC. He was born on May 5, 1945 at Grand Isle, the son of the late Albay and Pauline Michaud.
Joe was a loving and devoted husband and father of nine children. He was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Amy of Old Town; four daughters and four sons-in-law, Vanessa Connolly and her husband, Jon of Woodland, Mary Theriault and her husband, Adam, of Mapleton, Christine Grande and her husband, Rey, Joscelyn Jarquio and her husband, Gino, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Michael and his wife, Yuri, of Leonard, Texas, David and his wife, Sheanee, of Eleele, Hawaii; Justin and his wife, Irene, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Christopher Bessert of Eva Beach, Hawaii. Joe is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Cyr of Canton, Georgia and Verna Hewitt and her husband, Marc, of Old Town; sister-in-law, Betty Michaud of Caribou; 27 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Annette Michaud; sisters, Linda Byram and Viola Wilkes; and brother, Joseph A. Michaud, Jr. A Veteran’s burial will be held at the VA Cemetery in Caribou on Friday, October 19, 2018, at 1:00 p.m.
