Maureen Russell McKenna

NORTH CONWAY, NH – Maureen Russell McKenna passed away peacefully at home in North Conway, NH on Oct. 6, 2018.
Maureen was born on Dec. 14, 1945 in Presque Isle, Maine to Raymond and Margaret (Chandler) Russell.
She was the last graduating class of Mapleton, ME in 1963. Maureen moved to North Conway in 1989 after working many years at the Northeastland Hotel as a waitress and breakfast cook.
She retired in 2013 after many years as a breakfast cook.
She was an avid sports enthusiastic, who loved playing softball and bowling. She also loved watching the Red Sox and Celtics.
Maureen is survived by her three children, Raymond McKenna, Gerald and Betty McKenna, Sandra and Tom Winslow; four grandchildren, Tiffany and Ben Lundsford, Ashlee and David Green, Danae McKenna, and Trent Winslow; four great-granddaughters; and a fifth due in 2019; her twin sister, Marlene Dicker; sister, Judy and Phil Morrill; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Russell and Phyllis Russell.
She was preceded by her parents; two brothers, Delmar (Bill) and Derek Russell; and brother-in-law, Larry Dicker.
Graveside service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery on Oct. 20 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Visiting Nurses Home Care & Hospice of Carroll County www.vnhch.org.
