WOODLAND, Maine – Priscilla C. Neilander, 84, died October 27, 2018, with her loving family by her side at Caribou. She was born in Woodland December 4, 1933 the daughter of the late Chester and Vina (Dionne) Brown.
She attended the Woodland Schools, was a graduate of Caribou High School and in 1955 she married Keith Neilander. Priscilla was a longtime member of the former St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Caribou where she was a member of the ECW group. She was also a member of the Woodland Extension. She was employed as a teacher’s aide at Woodland Consolidated School for a number of years and was a loving a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of over 63 years, Keith of Woodland, are her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elaine Neilander of Hampden; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Terry Hale of Presque Isle and Pam and Matt Langley of Eliot; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Fred Gill of Florida; her grandchildren, Craig Neilander, Bobbie Jo Adams, Nicholas and Brandon Hale, Erin and Taylor Langley, Andrew Sprague and Amanda Rideout; seven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Winnie Brown; her special longtime friend, Marge Dahlgren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Priscilla was predeceased by a brother, Donald. Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Sharpe, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
