WRENTHAM, Mass. – Eda E. (Currier) Stockson passed away peacefully, on October 10, 2018, in the embrace of family and the compassionate nursing staff of the Pond Home in Wrentham, MA. She was born November 30, 1919, in Houlton, Maine, graduated from Houlton High School in 1938, then attended Beal Business College. In 1946 she married Arnold, her loving companion of 57 years. In 1948 they moved to Cambridge and joined the Grace Methodist Church and Eastern Star. Eda attended the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance (BA 1954). She worked for 10 years at AB Dick in Boston followed by a 25 year career at Harvard University. Eda was preceded in death by Arnold, by both parents Dwight and Bernice Currier and by her four beloved siblings, brothers Laurel and Eber, sisters Vivian Olmstead and Vera Ruth Adams, sister in law Trudy Currier, and brothers in law, Gilbert and William Stockson. She is survived by her daughter Sally Rossini (Ralph), son David Stockson (Carlin), grandchildren Kelsey Stockson, Sean Stockson and Nicholas Rossini (Sarah), great-grandchildren, Anthony and Luca Rossini, as well as sister-in-law, Marilyn Stockson and the extended families of the many nieces and nephews whose lives she touched.
