PHYLLIS L. COLE, HOULTON – Phyllis L. Cole, 88, died November 17, 2018, in Houlton. She was born September 14, 1930 in Etna, the daughter of Miles and Alice (Cole) Bates.
She married George in 1947, and they had a daughter, Shirley, in 1948, who both predeceased her. She is survived by five granddaughters, Allison Sabattis of Houlton, Sara (Doug) Bouchard of Houlton, Amanda and (Joe) Long of Littleton, Cindy Sabattis (Frank) of Albion and Stephanie Cole (Toby) of Auburn; eight great-grandchildren, Douglas, Macy, Brandon, Jacob, Parker, Emma, Alexis, and Madison; a very close friend, Norma; feline friend, Princess; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her parents and siblings, Robert, Dorothy, Maxine, and Joseph.
Friends may call 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Bowers Funeral Home,10 Water St., Houlton, with a funeral service being held at 1 p.m., with Joan Sullivan officiating. Spring interment will be in Linneus Cemetery.
