Spring sports season is here

PLAY BALL — The high school spring sports season got underway on Monday with tryouts for softball at Presque Isle High School. If tryouts were last week Carly Bell might have been taking this groundball outside, but with temperatures around the freezing mark and bitter wind chills on Monday coaches decided to practice inside. In addition to softball, baseball, track and tennis got underway at the beginning of the week.
