MONDAY’S VIEW
The intersection of the Presque Isle Stream and the Aroostook River was still mostly ice-covered at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 19. The ATV/snowmobile bridge had considerable clearance before mid-week high temperatures in the 70s caused a rapid thaw of ice and snow.
THURSDAY’S VIEW
The water level on the Presque Isle Stream and Aroostook River at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 21, rose considerably, as mid-week highs in the 70s rapidly melted snow and ice in the area. The ATV/snowmobile bridge has far less clearance than earlier in the week.
