Halfway Home Pet Rescue pet of the week – December 12, 2018

Donnie is a very special neutered male cat residing at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue. All his medical is completed He has been with us for almost two full years even though he is clean living, litter box trained and very healthy. His previous owner neglected, abused and abandoned this sweet cat. Donnie’s issue is, therefore, that he is just very shy when new people come into the adoption center to view the adoptable cats and he will hide up in the tunnels. Once Donnie knows that he can trust you to not hurt him, he becomes a very attractive, happy, confident guy with a great love for his people. He loves to play with mice and bird toys and can get quite excited over the red dot. Donnie’s new owner will need to have the patience of a few day or a week to give Donnie the time to adjust at his new environment. HHPR volunteers love this big boy and to help facilitate his adoption into a good home before Christmas, Donnie’s adoption fee will reduced to only $40.00 For more information, call 999-1075.
