PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Stone Ridge Event Center in Presque Isle will host its inaugural Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15 and 16.

A portion of the proceeds from the event being held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day will go toward scholarships for beds in a residential drug treatment facility based on Christian beliefs and practices and recovery (detox) kits. Donations for the cause also will be accepted.

Among the vendor offerings will be fresh Christmas trees, wreaths and centerpieces; goats milk soaps and healing lotions; Maine maple products; gourmet fudges; personalized (while you wait) handcrafted gifts; coffee and cocoa; baked potato bar; and a cookie baking station with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Members of the Star City Saints also will be dressing as elves to assist the Clauses and building faux fireplaces to raffle off.

In addition, there will be music and more raffles.
