Students place first in Wind Blade Challenge

Easton students placed first out of 50 school teams at this year’s Wind Blade Challenge held at the University of Maine at Orono.
Easton High School was awarded a $100 check and a team member will be offered a paid internship as a research assistant for all four undergraduate years if they decide to attend UMO.

Senior citizens plan trip
The Easton Senior Citizens will be traveling Wednesday, May 9, to Brookside Restaurant in Smyrna. The bus driver, Dellas Adams, will be leaving the Manor at 9:30 a.m. After dinner, participants will be shopping at the Amish store. All Easton seniors 55 or over are invited to take part for lunch and a little shopping. Hope to see you there.
Easton alumni
The Easton alumni will be hosting their Alumni Banquet to honor the Class of 2012 on Thursday, June 7, at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served in the Easton Elementary School cafeteria and we ask that alumni bring a salad or dessert along with $5 for your dues. The Classes of 1962 and 1987 will also be recognized. This year’s newsletter can be found online at www.eastonschools.org.
