Credit union names FF branch manager

PRESQUE ISLE, MaineThe County Federal Credit Union has announced that Janelle Morin has been promoted to branch manager in Fort Fairfield.

“Janelle joined the credit union six years ago as a teller,” said Dan Bagley, executive vice president. “In that time she has shown her dedication to providing an exceptional experience for our members.”

Bagley said, “She has assumed several duties, titles and promotions with the most recent title of Loan Officer in our Caribou branch. Janelle’s skillset, knowledge of our products, her natural way of helping our membership, along with friendly outgoing personality, made this promotion a very easy decision.”

“I greatly appreciate the team that has contributed to my professional growth, guiding me on the path to this new position,” stated Morin.  “Since joining the credit union years ago, I’ve loved working in a field where I can have a direct positive impact on our members and our communities.  It’s fulfilling to have the opportunity to work side by side with our members in achieving their financial goals.”

Originally from Sanford, Morin graduated with a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Maine at Orono. Over her professional career she has participated in several trainings for the industry.

“I strongly believe in the focus that the credit union has on building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with our membership,” she said. “I look forward to leading the Fort Fairfield team in providing the highest quality financial experience to existing and new members in the Fort Fairfield area.”

Morin has been an active volunteer with United Way of Aroostook, the CU Campaign to End Hunger in Maine and is currently the treasurer for the Star City ATV Club. She resides in Mapleton.
