Bowling concludes in PI
PRESQUE ISLE — Another league season has wrapped up at Northern Lanes in Presque Isle and the champions have been crowned.
In the Sunday night mixed doubles league, Who Cares took the top spot over GFD. The high string (141) and high series (353) honors went to Stacey Robinson for the women and for the men Steve Burtt had the high string at 169 and Mike Gardner rolled the high series at 409.
Monday night the National League belonged to Rob’s Pit Stop. Second place went to Michael’s Electric. Dan Dyer had both the high string and high series, 186 and 645 respectively.
The Atlantic League on Tuesday was won by Bessey’s Bowlers over Cairn’s Carpentry. The high string (145) and high series (369) were rolled by Mona Reiersen.
In American League action on Wednesday, Bottlenecks topped Eagle Hill. Roger St. Pierre had the high string at 160 and Michael Lee the high series at 662.
The Independent League champions on Thursday was PI Elks No. 1 over Trombley’s. High series went to Terry Grant (186) and high series to Mike Gardiner (430).
