PRESQUE ISLE — Plans are already underway for the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce’s Strawberry Shortcake Sale, scheduled for Thursday, June 21.
CACC Executive Director Theresa Fowler said it’s never too early to plan an outing to enjoy a delicious treat like those offered at the annual fundraiser.
“Summer is in the air and there’s no better way to start it than with our annual Strawberry Shortcake Sale. The CACC is pleased to offer the delightful, fresh treat to businesses and their employees,” said Fowler.
On June 21, in the parking lot of KeyBank located at North Street Plaza, the CACC will have a booth offering the mouthwatering dessert for $3.25 each, with proceeds going toward the organization’s operating expenses. Orders can also be placed for delivery to area businesses.
“If you’d like to place an order, please call the Chamber by Friday, June 8,” she said.
Fowler said deliveries would be made only to businesses who order 10 or more of the sweet treats. The rain date for walk-ups only will be Friday, June 22.
“The business orders will be delivered rain or shine on Thursday, June 21. They will be delivered to the following towns: Presque Isle, Easton, Mars Hill, Caribou, Mapleton, Washburn and Fort Fairfield.
“Don’t miss out on giving your employees this tasty treat for the hard work they have done,” said Fowler. “Help make this our biggest and best Strawberry Shortcake Sale ever.”
