PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Kiwanis Club of Presque Isle will host the Kiwanis Swing into Spring Showcase the weekend of March 23-24 at The Forum in Presque Isle.
This business expo, the first hosted by the club in 10 years, will allow businesses to showcase their products and services while celebrating the beginning of spring. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 24.
Businesses may set up their displays on Friday, March 22.
Club organizers said the event will include workshops hosted by various businesses and organizations, high-end spring-themed door prizes, and even a $500 cash prize drawing for people who attend both the Swing into Spring Showcase and the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club’s Spring Sportsman’s Show.
Admission will cost $3 for adults, with children 12 and under admitted for free. Proceeds will benefit local Kiwanis charities, including scholarships for local students, the Christmas Basket Project, children’s health and wellness and school supplies for local students.
