Nelson, Byron A., 75, of Caribou, died July 18 at Bangor. CARIBOU – Byron “Bunny” A. Nelson, 75, died July 18, 2007 at Bangor. He was born at New Sweden, November 9, 1931, the son of Wilbert and Olga (Storkson) Nelson. He was a carpenter and mechanic for several years. He loved music, playing at local nursing homes and veterans homes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Byron was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Up State New York.
He is survived by his wife Stella (Morin) Nelson of Caribou, a son Byron Nelson of NC; a brother Wilbur Nelson of Bath, NY; three sisters Katherine Irving of Caribou, Martha Justus of Michigan and Mrs. Bob (Reta) Ottaviano of Cape Cod; a grandson Michael; two grand daughters Elizabeth and Britney and a favorite nephew Calvin Lund of Caribou. He was predeceased by a daughter Bonnie Nelson and a brother Elwin Nelson.
