The Maine Principals’ Association has finalized the starting times for Saturday’s Class D basketball state championship games at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
The Class D girls title game between Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook (19-2) and Greenville (15-6) is scheduled for a 2:05 p.m. tip, while the boys game pitting Schenck of East Millinocket (14-7) and Forest Hills of Jackman (21-0) will start at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Those contests will start later than usual as the University of Maine is playing an 11 a.m. home game against Binghamton University.
The evening games at the Cross Insurance Center are set for the normal times as Penobscot Valley of Howland (18-4) takes on Boothbay Region (21-0) in the Class C girls game at 7:05 p.m. and Houlton (18-4) faces Winthrop (20-1) in the boys contest at 8:50 p.m.

The Class A title games are scheduled to be played Friday at the Augusta Civic Center. Hampden Academy (17-4) faces Greely of Cumberland Center (21-0) in the girls game at 6:05 p.m. with the boys game between Lawrence of Fairfield (13-8) and Greely (18-3) slated for a 7:45 p.m. tip.
The Classes B and AA state championship games will be played Saturday at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland. The Class B contests feature the girls from Mount Desert Island of Bar Harbor (19-2) against Gray-New Gloucester (19-2) and the Caribou boys (18-3) against Cape Elizabeth (14-7) at 2:45 p.m.
The Class AA games close out championship play in Portland when Oxford Hills of South Paris (19-2) clashes with Scarborough (19-2) at 6:05 p.m. and the Bangor boys (19-2) encounter Bonny Eagle of Standish (18-3) at 9:05 p.m.
