PORTLAND, Maine — UPS announced on Feb. 26 that 19 elite drivers from Maine are among 1,436 newly inducted worldwide into the Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for the company’s drivers who have achieved 25 or more years of accident-free driving.
The inductees include Pat Buckley and Michael Morneault, both of Presque Isle,
“My thanks goes out to my entire team for their dedication and focus. They have saved so many lives,” said Ivy Brown, president, UPS Northeast District. “Their attention to detail has kept them safe and has helped improve public safety.”
Maine boasts 62 Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 1,710 years of accident-free driving. David Bradford of Standish is the state’s senior-most safe driver, with 39 years of accident-free driving under his belt. There are 546 total full-time UPS drivers in Maine.
