CROUSE, Wayne R., 77, CROUSEVILLE, July 27, 2012. As per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. A private burial will be at the Crouseville Hilltop Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, Presque Isle.
CROUSEVILLE – Wayne R. Crouse died peacefully after a long illness at his home on July 27, 2012. He was born on April 7, 1935, in Presque Isle, the son of Ralph and Necia (Carvell) Crouse.
Wayne graduated from Washburn High School and attended Boston University where he majored in aeronautical engineering. He worked as a graphic artist for Stone & Webber Engineering in Boston before retiring at an early age to come back home. He painted many signs for organizations in the area during his retirement.
Wayne is survived by his four brothers, Beverly (Carl) and his wife, Dot of Las Vegas, NV, Neil of Lisbon, Roger and his wife, Sandra of Crouseville, Steven and his wife, Shelby of Brunswick. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and one nephew.
