Candy is an approximately 12-year-old female cat living in a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home. She was found in Fort Fairfield almost dead in a snowbank and extremely ill. She came to HHPR and has now recovered from her medical issues. She would love a new home. She is quiet, loving, and gets along with other cats. She likes to sleep a lot and enjoys soft, gentle petting. HHPR is focusing this month on placing elderly cats. Adoption fees will be greatly discounted on approved homes. Some cats, like Candy, are under the permanent foster program, which means the new owner provides the loving home and HHPR provides any follow-up medical care the elderly cat might need for the rest of her life.
