Halfway Home Pet Rescue pet of the week (week of March 27, 2019)

Halfway Home Pet Rescue presents Grampa Milt, who resides at a foster home in Caribou. He is a 10- to 12-year-old neutered male who lived as a barn cat for nine years. When the barn collapsed, Grampa went to a foster feral home. When the cat family moved, he and Jimbo stayed behind because of their age, moving into the main house. Grampa soon discovered he liked the life of a house cat, and slowly learned that being praised and petted by humans was not a bad choice. After having some dental work, Grampa will make a lovely home companion for a quiet family environment. He is great with all other cats. Loud noises do scare him.
