Happy Days Club plans field trip

EASTON NEWS

by Debbie Smith

The Happy Days Senior Club held their first meeting of the season  on Aug. 23 with 11 members present and two guests. The guests were Gloria Richardson and Joanne Cape, who is Ida Doak’s daughter from San Antonio, Texas.

The next meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 13. A Chinese lunch will be provided at the Manor from Chopsticks. Bring yourself and a friend. Hope to see you there.

Members will be discussing a leaf peeping trip and need your input for best directions. It will be planned for Sept. 27 and will leave from the Manor. Everyone is invited to see all kinds of fall colors.

Thanks to all of the members for making our club such a success and a place to socialize. There is one birthday for the month which is Ida Doak. Have a great day, Ida.
