Lyons promoted
AUGUSTA — Col. James D. Campbell, the Adjutant General for the Maine National Guard, announced the promotion of Peter Lyons, SPC, Presque Isle, 185th EN Support Co.
Soldiers were promoted to rank in August 2012.
Coffin earns bachelor’s degree
BOSTON — Austin Douglas Coffin of Presque Isle (04769) has been officially awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, Mass.
Coffin was among 385 graduate and undergraduate students who were honored during an outdoor commencement ceremony held at the college on Friday, May 18 for meeting the necessary requirements to earn a degree.
