Caron, Jerry P., 36, of Portage Lake, died July 26, 2007.
    PORTAGE LAKE – Jerry P. Caron, 36, died July 26, 2007 in Castle Hill as a result of a motor vehicle accident.  He was born in Presque Isle, Feb. 11, 1971, the son of Gary and Liette (Theriault) Caron.
    Jerry was a graduate of Ashland High School and attended Northern Maine Community College.
    He is survived by his mother, Liette Caron of Portage Lake; his father, Gary Caron of Clackamas, Oregon; one sister, Mary Casey and her husband John of Ashland; his niece and nephew, John Robert Casey and Samantha Casey, both of Ashland.
    A funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, July 31 at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at Portage Lake.  Committal service and interment were in the St. Mark Cemetery, Sheridan.  Those who wish may contribute in his memory to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078.
