MARS HILL, Maine — Rep. Dustin White visited Central Aroostook High School on April 5 to recognize the school’s cheering team for their sixth consecutive state cheerleading championship and 11th overall win in 12 years.

White presented an official sentiment from the 129th Legislature and the people of the state of Maine to the cheerleaders, Coaches Allen and Lyons, Principal Dr. Kay York and Superintendent Elaine Boulier.

He read the official document to the group and presented each member of the team and both coaches with an individual copy of the sentiment. He recognized their dedication and commitment to excellence by sharing with them his personal congratulations for all they have accomplished.

The school will display the official document in a trophy cabinet along with the team’s awards.
