The Houlton chapter of TOPS met Friday, May 17. There were nine TOPS and four KOPS present.
The loser of the week was Marsha Reed and the runner-up was Jeanette Nelson. Good job, ladies. Diane Folsom won the skinny dish and Barbara Whited won the 50/50. Barbara Troy got the health basket.
Congratulations to Diane Folsom for reaching the goal of becoming a KOPS. Her hard work and perseverance helped her accomplish this victory. Hoorah for Diane.
Houlton TOPS received an award at our statewide meeting for 25 years of continuous, active chapter meetings — a wonderful sign of the encouragement and support this group continues to provide. And a big thank-you from me for making me part of this strong group of ladies.
Marsha Reed presented the program on “Positive Thoughts.” We discussed several points:
My challenges help me grow.
I have people that love and respect me.
Today I can get through anything.
And if I fall I will get back up again.
No matter what part of life we’re in, “Positive Thoughts” should always be a part of our daily regime. Thank you, Marsha, great program.
We welcome new members and would truly love to see others join us on Friday mornings. Come see what a different way of spending Fridays can do for you. For more information call Pam Richardson at 538-8790 or email me at prludlow@outlook.com.
