It was an outing to Oakfield for the Purple Hat Ladies to the Smoki-Haulers Snow Club for their first summer meeting of 2019.
Beautiful fresh flower arrangements decorated the tables and were given to several ladies at the end of the meeting.
The monthly drawing was won by Jackie Colella.
Christine McPherson, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program representative for this area, was the guest speaker. She told of all the activities going on in southern Aroostook. For more information, call the Agency on Aging in Presque Isle.
Weather (and blackflies) permitting, we will meet for a picnic in July.
