Wildcat players lead Big East hoop stats
The Big East Conference has released its basketball individual statistical leaders for games played through Jan. 14, and Presque Isle players are among the top-five in several categories.
For boys, Jonah Stephenson is fifth in scoring at 15 points per game. Hs is also fifth in free throw percentage (68.42), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (34.04) and first in assists per game (5.67).
Brad Shields is fifth in field goal percentage (48.24) and third in rebounds per game (7.89).
Tyler Brooks is ranked fourth in free throw percentage (71.05).
For girls, Chandler Guerrette is fourth in scoring (15 ppg), third in field goal percentage (55.17), second in free throw percentage (91.3), fifth in three-point percentage (19.5), third in steals per game (3.36) and second in assists per game (3.45).
Hannah Graham is second in field goal percentage (63.08) and Krystal Kingsbury is fourth (51.9) in the category. Megan Ireland leads the conference in three-point field goal percentage (41) and steals per game (4.64) and is fourth in assists per game (3.27), while Karlee Bernier is fourth in three-point percentage (23.08).
