Extension group meets for party
The Spragueville Homemakers Extension met on Dec. 17 for its monthly meeting and yearly Christmas party at the home of Marilyn Wheeler. Nine members were in attendance.
President Sylvia Harper called the meeting to order followed by the recitation of the Homemakers Creed. President Harper thanked the group for purchasing and donating a book entitled “Modern Log Cabin Quilting” to the Turner Memorial Library in the memory of honorary member Elaine Harper. A business meeting was held with Secretary Lavonne Walters submitting the secretary and treasurers reports.
Plans were discussed for the upcoming “stew night” at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club.
