HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton golf team improved to 9-3 on the season with an impressive victory over Greenville and Dexter Sept. 25.
At the Dexter Municipal Golf Course, Houlton shot a 179 to easily beat second place Greenville (234) and Dexter (252). The Shires were led by Collin Moody with a 37, Garett Harvey 45, Isaac Vega 46, Kollin Irish 51, Sidney Peabody 60, Madalyn Quirk 62, Gage Bartlett 63 and Abby Fitzpatrick 80.
The Shires compete in the Penobscot Valley Conference championship Wednesday, Oct. 2 in Hermon.
