Proceeds from the Aroostook River Fun Run were recently presented to Boy Scout Troop 177 of Washburn, Mel’s Trekkers/Trek Across Maine/American Lung Association; and Aroostook Veterans Alliance.
A net total of $1,350 was raised this year in collaboration with Washburn Rotary, Presque Isle Rotary, Presque Isle Kiwanis, Northern Light AR Gould Hospital and the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club through the Fun Run. Plans are now underway for next year’s event, set for Saturday, May 16, 2020.
